Welcome on board! A day on the Mam Boye "C" will be a day to remember and one of the highlights of your stay in The Gambia. The estatuary of the majestic river is where you will explore the nature, soak up the sun, be pampered, take a dip, catch some fish, eat good food and enjoy true Gambian hospitality. There are several options to choose from and if you have a special occassion to celebrate we provide you with anunique venue! Gambia River Cruise was established in 2003 and our luxury piroque is unique in its kind offering you maximum comfort and service. Ever since we started we have taken boat cruising in The Gambia to a higher level. We are fully licenced and insured and work together with some reputable tour operators. Our clientele comes from all walks of life and they have one thing in common: they want to have a good time! You can join on one of our trips or even better book for yourself and your loved ones. Home >> Experience Experience Join us for a cruise on the majestic Gambia river for one or more days. Explore nature, soak up the sun, watch the sunset, spot some birds, eat good food, catch some fish, take a dip but above all relax. That's what it is all about when you experience the Mam Boye C and its friendly and helpful crew. Our piroque offers a lower deck with a fully stocked bar and kitchen where our chef will prepare all kinds of tasty food. There is a spacious bathroom for the comfort of our guests. On the upper deck there is a covered lounge area with thick mattresses and fluffy cushions and several deck chairs and more mattresses for you to relax whilst cruising. Courtesy fishing rods are provided for those wanting to try their luck and catching fish. Safety equipement like life vests and life rings are at hand. There are several options to choose from like you will find below, but don't forget we can tailor make your trip! River Memories Early Bird Cruise Private hire Around 11 in the morning you depart from our pier at Denton Bridge. Just make yourself comfortable and get ready to enjoy the day. Our chef will keep serving you with a range of finger foods, main courses and dessert whilst you enjoy the scenery, watch the birds and maybe spot local women... Before sunrise, around 6 in the morning, we depart from Denton Bridge. The boat is thoughtful iluminated and you are welcomed by a fresh cup of coffee or tea. Whilst slowly cruising through the mangroves the birds start to wake up and will show one after the other their beauty and the sounds... What is nicer then hiring our comfortable piroque for a day out with your friends for instance on a lazy sunday afternoon. You can hire the boat on its own and bring along your own food and drinks or why not make it easy and let us take care of that. Get to discover the underwater world, by trying to bring as many different kinds of fish up with your rod. If you have the desire to jump in the water, feel free to do so. A sandwich lunch is included in the trip. Price depending on the number joining the trip. Please contact us for more info. Why not go and explore the Gambia River all the way down to Georgetown and Basse. You can choose to start and end in Banjul or let a car take you back from Georgetown. This is a tailor made trip and best to do during the months of May and June. You can sleep on the boat or in lodges on the banks of the river. Later in 2010 a new lodge will open its doors in Bintang. This small village is nested at the banks of the river. You will cruise on our comfortable piroque to the lodge where you will have an overnight in one of the floating, luxury, rooms. Home >> Experience >> Early Bird Cruise Early Bird Cruise Before the sun wakes up the birds we depart around 6 in the morning from Denton Bridge. All is quiet and the boat is thoughtfull iluminated for you to observe what is happening around the boat. A warm welcome with coffee and tea by the friendly crew. Whilst slowly cruising through the mangroves the birds start to wake up and one after the other will start to show or will let you know that they are awake.When the sun is about to rise you will stop in a good location to experience the sunrise and the crew will by that time serve you a home cooked breakfast. We will continue our morning and we will reach Lamin Lodge. Here you have the option to disembark and continue your bird watching trip on land or we will take you back to Denton Bridge. During this morning you will see beautiful birds like the pied kingfisher, great reef herron, eagles and pelicans. <br>

You can hire the boat on its own and bring along your own food and drinks or we can make things really easy for you and let us take care of that. We will ensure that you have a tailor made trip that you will remember. You tell us what you want and we will make it happen....althoughthe Mam Boye C is not a speed boat so you will need time to reach yourdestination if youe.g. decide to go toJuffureh. A morning, an afternoon or a dinner cruise it is all possible.Multiple days or for a transfer, just contact us! <br>
Home >> Experience >> River Memories River Memories Around 11 in the morning you depart from our pier at Denton Bridge. This bridge is the connecting point between Serrekunda and the capital Banjul. Our friendly staff will welcome you with a drink and whilst you make yourself ready the boat will depart on its trip on the majestic mouth of the river Gambia. You will first cruise through the mangroves, home to many birds and to oysters who grow on the roots of these mangrove bushes. With a bit of luck you will see local women collect the oysters from the branches in their small dug out canoes. The chef will prepare several smaller dishes for you to enjoy during the morning. In the afternoon he will prepare some main courses for you, followed by dessert, coffee and tea and biscuits. During the day several stops are made for swimming and fishing. Courtesy rods are provided including bait. You will sail past Banjul and see the activity in the harbour before you continue to Lamin Lodge for a sail past. In the late afternoon you will return towards Denton Bridge where you will reach around 6 pm. <br>
